Leni Mayo

Bio

I've been working in the IT industry since the mid-1980's, mainly as a freelance software engineer.  Between 1991 and 1996 I worked in the San Francisco Bay Area, eventually specialising in distributed software systems based on CORBA and C++.

After returning to Melbourne I co-founded two businesses. One of these businesses (Zeo) was acquired in 1999 by what is now SMS Management and Technology (ASX:SMX).

In the distant past, I earned a BSc (Hons) from the University of Melbourne majoring in Computer Science (1985) and followed the degree with a year on staff at the Computer Science department.

I also serve on the board of sitepoint.com - a popular resource site for webmasters.
